How does Waste Not compare with hiring a skip?
Our teams do all the heavy lifting, and each of our vans holds the equivalent of two ten-yard skips.
Do I need to be at the property during the clearance?
No, provided we have the keys from you or we can access a lock-box you do not need to be present. We will take a video after the property is cleared and send it to you.
Can you collect keys from an estate agent or solicitor?
Yes, we would be happy to do so.
What happens to reusable furniture and belongings?
They are offered to local charities.
Can you clear a property following a bereavement?
Yes, this is the main part of what we do.
How do you calculate the quote?
The price is determined by the number of items that need to be cleared, the weight of those items and the time it will take our team to safely and carefully remove everything.
Are there any items you cannot take?
The only things we cannot take are paints, oils, chemicals, food and hazardous materials.
Do you provide paperwork or receipts following a clearance?
Yes, we will provide you with a Waste Transfer Note that confirms we are now in possession of your unwanted items and responsible for their proper recycling.
Are you insured and licensed?
Yes, we are a licensed waste carrier by the Environmental Agency and have liability insurance of £5 million.
